Stress, aka: Can Solar Eclipse Increase Stress?

Doors opening & closing just seem to get louder and louder. To do lists keep expanding and additional deadlines to be met. STRESS; my head is pounding and the calm Sunday mood is gone.

Life is not always the way it is depicted on social media; with clean homes, smiling teenagers, and a well dressed calm entrepreneur with endless energy. Nope, we just see glimpses of life on social media.

My senses are completely overloaded but the deadlines are not going away and the stress is about to kill my rationality.

Time for action

I put my headset on and log into my MusiCure account. The evidence based research has shown MusiCure significantly reduces cortisol levels in test patients and increases the ability to concentrate. An International study between scientific researchers in Finland, Denmark and Italy suggest we process visual emotions differently based on the sound in the room. My family knows to leave me alone if I have my headset on when on the computer. Yesterday was no different; although I did get a couple of nice hugs when they passed by me. A common question. And, sadly, the answer is often not enough or not well! I can easily get caught up in my book at night. I love reading and sleep has to pay the price. The next day, I also pay the price with a constant feeling of not having enough sleep, dragging my feet, not getting work done, no energy, and a nap does not even help. Sleep can’t be caught up. Sleep is crucial for our survival. It’s basically the “car wash gold level service” for our whole body; a time to cleanse, detox, and restore our well being.

Calm the Mind with MusiCure

It was our first time showing our healing modality at a conference. We specifically picked NAMI since its because of mental illness we got introduced to MusiCure- music as medicine.

The storytelling would take no end. It was such an honor to listen and share in the pain, battle, and recovery that comes with mental health struggles.

First the pain and then the raising – it must rain before the rainbow appears.

Who decided to separate the head from the body? Healing comes from within and the whole body needs healing when struck by illness. When the mind is racing, MusiCure is there to provide calmness.

The evidence based research has given results like

  • Decreases pain

MusiCure is with you wherever you go. I use it when I wait in a doctors office, instead of getting stressed out by the TV in the waiting room. I also use it during homework time with my kids or in the afternoon when I need some calm in my head after a busy day. We ALWAYS play MusiCure when bedtime comes around. When everyone is tucked in and ready to snooze off, we then switch to the Sleep program. Sometimes, watching a MusiCure video is just what the doctor ordered. When the paralyzing effect of anxiety comes around, I just put it on. Soon after, I see the rapid breathing slow down and calmness enters my house again, which is more than a welcoming feeling for all involved.
